How to get OEM Amp?

to work? My 1995 eclipse has an oem amp with an infinity system. I am not the original owner. But I don't see any amp cables going to the battery... There is an after market stereo unit and speakers. Does this make the amp not work? I've never had a car with a factory amp

Mmm.. need more details. If its infinity amp it could be 3 things, the amp is behind dash under radio, under back seat, or some even had an amp system located at each speaker. so if you get no sound the one thing you can do is check fuse box for broken fuses, one could be for the amp itself. If that does not work, take to local radio shop so they can check the whole thing, it could get pretty tricky if its not just fuse, Replacing factory radio and speakers does not mean they have to change factory amp, so either its still there and it broke, or they bypass it completely. good luck
