My ac unit filter was clogged up and froze the outside line.I turned the unit off , what should I do?

I replaced the filter, turned the AC unit off for 2 hours, turned it back on. At the time the outside line was very cold and froze again.

It is still frozen up at the coil inside the air handler. Let it run with the FAN ONLY for a least 2-3 hours. Then resume normal operation. If it freezes again it is probably low on refrigerant or airflow, due to a dirty coil or restriction in the duct work. You were right to replace the filter. Hopefully this is why it froze up in the first place.
