Normal title, but rebuilt truck?

I just looked at a truck and the lady showed me the title. Under title it said normal, but under truck type it said "rebuilt truck", so she said it was not a salvage title, but the truck had been rebuilt. Can I trust this? I live in Indiana.

You're looking at a branded title, a rebuilt title, which means the vehicle was a total loss, bought for salvage value and rebuilt, then inspected and found worthy enough to be given a rebuilt title. Just like a salvage title, you will not find a finance company that will give you a loan on it, and it will be hard to get insurance.

"You, as the vehicle's seller, have a duty to disclose that a vehicle has a salvage or rebuilt condition. Indiana's salvage law applies to vehicles, motorcycles, semis and recreational vehicles that are no older than seven-model-years from the current model year. If you are a dealer or you sell at least five vehicles a year, you have a legal duty to inform the purchaser of the previous salvage or rebuilt condition in writing before sale of the vehicle.
