What is the tow capacity of a Nissan Hardbody pickup (mine is a 1995)?

I have a class 5 non-load dispersing hitch, and no owners manual... =(

If you had an owners manual it says either 2 or 4 wheel drive manual trans 3.500 lbs trailer weight and 350 tounge weight auto trans truck only 2,000 trailer weight and 200 lbs tounge weight. Of course if your trailer weighs more than 1 ton you should have electric/hydraulic trailer brakes and sway control hitch. Never attempt using the bumper hole and ball for towing. That is good for only a small utility trailer 500 lbs. Make sure your truck is up to hard work new motor oil (10/40wt) 20/50wt and trans GL-4 and differential oils GL-5 Fresh air filter too. A little 4 cyl truck is a bit scary pulling into traffic with a 2900 pound trencher on a two axle trailer. Be careful stopping distance is nearly double even with electric trailer brakes

This is a very reliable truck, for anyone, but it makes a really good teenagers first car. I'm 18 and I love the truck, the only thing wrong so far, is that the brake master cylinder went out or is leaking, but I'm getting a new one soon, but this truck is great!!
