do i need a new petrol pump?

my fiat marea weekend t reghad a new petrol pump2 1/2 years ago the old one was from new my question is my car wont start but turns over theres no petrol coming through the pipe could there be a blockage or is the pump gone or could it be electrics is there a fiat mechanic online plse

fuel pumps most of tiem last 30 yrs and something plugged up at anytime and becomes dirty so 95 % of time pump never goes bad 95% of time its trash that blocks flow
