what transmission type is the zc transmission?

im swaping a d16a6 into a 96 civic hatch. the a6 tranny is cable and wont work as i need a hydro transmission for my year. my buddy has a z6 transmission hell give me for next to nothing, what i need to know is, is the z6 tranny cable linkage or hydro linkage? also my a6 tranny has an obx lsd and exedy 6 puck stage 3 clutch and the gears dont grind, will these internals be able to swap into the z6 tranny?

you would be best checking woth a honda specialist. i know from overhauling my gearbox on my eg6 sir 2 that everything has to be exact to 0.01mm. or you will destroy the box and drive. you should maybe look at b16 blocks. much stronger with a lot more power. my 1.6 has a squeeze over 220bhp and in a car that weighs just over a 1000kg. its fast. obviously i have done a massive amount of work for the extra 50bhp from the standard engine but i just wouldnt waste time trying to match tranny's. email me at garysneddon@rocketmail.com if you need to know anything else
