Chevrolet has finally made the move to Install curtain and side airbag module units in the Sunfire GT, 2 door and 4 door models. The car that was originally slated to receive an new airbag redesign has finally grown up. For 2009 you can get a Sunfire with a five-speed stick transmission, a full-tilt-boogie sunfire trim package, good airbag safety and a more substantial 2.4 liter V-4. The old 262-inch gonowhere- fast V-4 has been phasedout in favor of a more efficient, cleaner and more potent vehicle. Metrically speaking, that translates into 2.4 litres of maximum power. The 1998 and 2001 sunfire airbag system is the one that has maximum appeal in the safety performance marketplace, even though its strong points are merely bolt-on and stick-on module reset options.
The main elements of the sunfire's airbags are bold striping, large srs name identification, a front air bag, rear deck spoiler and extensive use of satin black dash airbags. Satin black surrounds all window openings. The bold dual side airbag colors come in two colors-black or gold to suit the exterior color. And they have saved many lives in accidents. However, sunfire lettering can be outlined in red, white or gold. to be compatible with the body color and stripe theme. New Aluminum wheels with bright trim rings continue the sunfire theme. This relatively small engine has a reduced com bustion-chamber-surface-areato- volume ratio compared with the 2000 sunfire air bag which translates into less hydrocarbons and better safety for the airbags control. Camshaft timing is on the mild side with 272/288 degree duration. But overall the improvement in the sunfire airbag system is incredible.

1988 camaro no power to fuel injector?
hi i have a problem with no power to my 1988 CHEVROLET CAMARO V8 5.0 Liter FI injector . i spent i dont know how many hours to replace the fuel pump . i bought a tester to check the fuel injector and found no power . it will start some times . could it be the ecm ?
The power side doesn't come from ecm, it comes from ignition switch. Should be fused somewhere. Check all your fuses for power to both sides.
