H4 HID Bulbs
The new breed of HID or High Intensity Discharge bulbs is the H4 HID bulbs they use an electrical charge to ignite Xenon gas contained in a sealed bulb. H4 HID bulbs do not have filaments. The H4 HID bulb is custom filled with a mixture of gassed including Xenon which is ignited with an electrical charge. When the H4 HID bulb is ignited, an arc is created between the two electrodes giving the intense but road legal light that is different than any other light on the road.

There is a believe that the higher the color temperature of H4 HID bulbs the brighter the lamp. This concept is wrong. The color temperature is purely a scale to measure the color of the light output. It is a reference purely for color and could equally be called White , Green or Blue. The reality is the higher up the scale the lamps are the less bright they become. 6000K lamps are approx 30% brighter (measured in Lumens not degrees K) than the 8000K. The illumination color of light generated by HID is similar to sunlight and does not cause any stress or harm to the eyes.

can i use a JDM decal on a scion tc?
i popped out a dent on my car and there is some slight paint chipping in that spot. i was just gonna cover it with a sticker to prevent further chipping and though about the JDM logo.
i figured it would be okay since its a japanese car, but i usually see jdm stuff on hondas and acuras, so i thought i woud make sure this is not taboo for toyota before i get laughed at on the road.
