Here are some more information for Gas Truck:

Trucking companies and independent truck drivers are being hit extra hard by the high prices of diesel. You think that it's tough paying $4 and above for gasoline? Try paying more than $4.50 for diesel and also only getting 12 miles per gallon or less!
But, being that most Americans drive gasoline powered cars you won't hear about this problem as much as you will the plight of regular drivers.
Just today I read in the news about Nebraska trucking company Werner Enterprises saying that they had to spend an extra $55 on fuel during the second quarter this year over what they spent last year. That's what happens when the price of diesel goes from $2.81 per gallon on average to $4.37 per gallon on average.
So if anyone needed to use good additives to improve their gas mileage, its the truck drivers and trucking companies. Think of it this way: if you have a truck that averages 8 miles per gallon, and you were able to increase that by 12%, you'd be getting just under 9 miles per gallon.
Now, I know that a lot of people read this and think, "So what, you increased the mileage by one mile per gallon!" But what kind of a difference does that make in cost?
Well, if you're spending $4.37 for that gallon and you increase your mileage by 12%, you're also saving that amount on your gas. So realistically you're saving roughly $.52 per gallon. Do you think that will add up?
This is the main benefit of using a diesel additive to increase your mileage. More so even than gasoline powered vehicles, diesel vehicles can benefit a lot from using proven diesel additives to increase their gas mileage and save themselves and their companies money.
Increasing mileage by using a diesel additive is also a lot easier that some of the other crazy ideas and gadgets that are out there. No major modifications to your vehicle, just simple dump the product into your tank and track the difference. It's amazing to me that more companies and independent truck drivers aren't doing this!
If you are a truck driver or trucking company and would like to learn more about a diesel additive that can save your company money, come to FuelAdditiveStore.com. We carry a line of products that have been shown to increase mileage, decrease emissions, and all around benefit your vehicles.

I have to give the truck gas to start, once i relese the gas, it dies. Any ideas?
To get it to start, I press the gas or it wont turn over. Once its started, if i relese the gas, it dies. I have smelled coolant recently, but not when this started. All of the fluids are full.
Is your truck fuel injected or is it carborated? Either way you have a fuel system issue here. You aren't getting the right amount of fuel. If you have fuel injection I would start by checking the fuel pump or pumps. Some trucks have two of them. One is inside of the tank and the other is located along the frame. Then I would next check the fuel filter which is also located along the frame rail. To tell the fuel pump from the fuel filter is easy... All you have to do is look for wires. If you don't see any wires then you have found the fuel filter. If you see wires then you have found the fuel pump. Either way you will find both eventually. Then I would also check the fuel pressure regulator. After that I would check the fuel pump relays... If these go bad the fuel pumps may not run right or not at all for that matter. These relays power up the pumps. You should also check your throttle position sensor. Then lastly check your injectors... If these are bad you won't be getting the fuel correctly either. Now if you have a carberator you can still check the fuel pump just that it is manual insted of electric. You can also check your fuel filter... Sometimes there is one on the front of the carberator. Otherwise there is one somewhere in the fuel line. You may even want to check your fuel lines weather you have fuel injection or not. You may have to replace the entire carberator itself. Or you may even have to replace the fuel pump itself The fuel pump can apply to either fuel system.
