Need advice for 1988 Ford Van starting problems?

I have a 1988 Ford Van 6 cylindar. The van drives well and starts great when cold, but when I try to start the van after if has been driven and the engine is warm, sometimes the engine turns over very slowly and won't start. The battery was replaced and the engine was tuned up. What can you recommend? Thanks, Randy

you replace the battery but you replace the battery terminal or the cables?

when the heat of the car warm up the cables, that heat on the cable make the electric current flow slow that is called OHMS, and off course when happend that the starter dont get the correct volts and turn slow with no power

so replace your cables with new ones and also use the plastic thing that it uses to cover the cables, i dont know how is called but that things protects the cable from the heat
