Dodge Ram Hemi Question?

I am not a newcomer to performance upgrades. I have a 1973 Challenger that runs an 8.80 1/8th mile with moderate 360 bored 60 over, J code heads, Comp Xtreme energy cam, Air gap intake, Reverse man. valve body trans with 2800 stall and 3.91 gears. Question is.... with my 2005 Ram Hemi 1500 reg cab, will the superchip flashpaq tuner and a k&n filter bring it down to a 10.00 or lower 1/8th mile time?

you may gain a little off of it but maybe not enough to get you what your looking for,your stock time is around 10.30 now so you may gain another second or a half with it,if you go to a 4.11 gear ratio you may get more gain from that than the gear you have now,my dart runs 8.89 in the 1/8 mile,was that 10.30 consistent running,? cause the cooler the air the better a mopar runs,i can run low 8,s on a cooler night than i can on a hot night,the tuner will help you some though,still no guarantee,s that it will bring you down to a 10 or lower,improve on the exhaust some will also help it,with adding more performance parts to it your going to have to let it breath a little more,and stock exhaust just wont cut it,i don't fool too much with the newer trucks, my neighbor has been trying to get his down low enough so that he can run it at the track and not be ashamed of it the best we can get from it though is around a 10.11,but its not consistent the more he runs the higher the time goes on it,the first two runs he can do good,after that it gets higher,good luck with it.
