Arthur Davidson and William Harley dreamed of creating a "motorized bicycle" in their early adulthood. Test models were created and failed miserably, but this never deterred the boys from achieving their goal. Three motorcycle nicknames were established courtesy of Harley Davidson. "Choppers" were born when the angle of the motorcycle's front fork was extended allowing the handlebars to sit further back. "Hogs" became aptly named for the extra room used to transport racing pigs without switching to a larger vehicle. Who said people are the only ones who can ride a Harley? "Harleys" offered a shorter, catchier way to name a motorcycle manufactured by Harley Davidson.

Every March, Harley Davidson takes the Daytona by storm. June brings the Harleys to New England by way of Laconia, New Hampshire. Sturgis, South Dakota becomes a home away from home for many riders every August. Thousands of Harley Davidson's enthusiasts attend these gatherings. Many leave with dreams of having their own bike customized to match what they have seen on other bikes.

In 1983, H.O.G., The Harley Owners Group, formed its first chapter. Today more than 1,000 chapters are in existence and more than one million members share their love of these bikes, whether they own one or not. The devotion to this fine brand is proven, and you do not have to be among the elite to enjoy all there is to Harley Davidson. There are also a slew of online forums and websites devoted to Harley Davidson. Not even Yamaha, BMW, Victory, or Honda come close to having the same fan base.

Even if you cannot afford a Harley, you can still show your enthusiasm for the maker by purchasing items from their merchandise line. All of these items help contribute to Harley Davidson's $5 billion revenue every year. Hey, the advertising helps too! Not that Harley Davidson is hurting for promotion.

Harley Davidson truly is the reigning champion of motorcycle manufacturers. What others strive to achieve in their lifetime, Harley Davidson has conquered.

Gentlemen Start Your Engines

Finally! After the most long and drawn out primary season (especially the Democratic one), it's time to get on with the general election. We now settle in for FIVE MONTHS of definitely different and opposing ideas. It's not a 100% health program versus a 95% health program, but two very different concepts. And two totally different approaches to Iraq. And, it's the two MEN, not the first female challenging a male, but the first black male taking on the white male. Gentlemen- let's do this thing!  

Hillary began with 110% odds of winning the nomination and yet seventeen months after she sat regally in her New York living room and calmly declared: “I'm in and I'm in to win,” Hillary Clinton stands on a stage in a stifling hot shed in South Dakota, coughing and spluttering, as her daughter, Chelsea, grabs the microphone from her hand to take over the show.

As athletes are prone to say, Hillary did leave it all on the field. She held nothing back!

But, Barack Obama effectively clinched the Democratic presidential nomination Tuesday, becoming the first black candidate to lead a major party into a campaign for the White House. Vanquished rival Hillary Rodham Clinton swiftly signaled an interest in joining the ticket as running mate. Who would have guessed she'd join what she'c been calling a "losing ticket" in November?

Will Barack take her on as a VP? I don't see that, but this is politics after all!

Obama's triumph was fashioned on prodigious fundraising, meticulous organizing and his theme of change aimed at an electorate opposed to the Iraq war and worried about the economy - all harnessed to his own innate gifts as a campaigner. While a plethora of unseen events could happen between now and then, the environment for a Democratic landslide and sweep of everything in sight seems a real possibility.

From New York, Hillary made it clear that she's not done campaining. She wants to be the Vice President, but has she over stepped her line? Has she gone too far on the night that belonged to Obama? We shall see, but this night definitely belonged to Obama and when you compare the labored, boring, and dull John McCain speech to the Obama visionary oratory, it's was Obama's night.

Will the next five months be his?

First things first. First he must deal with and decide what to do with Hillary. We should know sooner than later.

I have changed the thermostat twice and have changed the water pump. No heat is going inside truck. All of the hoses are hot.

check and make sure the heater core isn't blocked on it, if it is it will stop the coolant from flowing through it and you wont get no heat on the inside of the vehicle,if both hoses are hot meaning the ones for the heater core then the blend door isn't opening up on it to allow the heat to enter the truck,i own a 99 model that has went through the same thing ,good luck.
