Can you program a sentry key for a pt cruiser with just one key?
Or is the dealer the only solution to this? I had to go once before and it was $50, a little steep for plugging it into a computer.
I also have 2 FOB's that need programing... any advice on those would be great too!

No, you have to have two programmed keys to be able to program additional keys yourself. Have the fobs programmed to it at the same time as the keys, shouldn't be any extra (not at the Chrysler dealers I've worked at, anyway).
If you have a habit of losing keys, or just think it might happen again in the future, go ahead and get 2 additional keys made so you don't have to pay programming again when you lose another one. Of course, having it programmed at the dealer will clear any previously programmed keys to prevent one from starting it if it gets into the wrong hands.
