Here are some more information for Cirrus Ecu:

You just get off from work and it's cold as all get out!
Snow is still coming down and blowing across the almost empty parking lot...
but you had to stay late to get the paychecks ready for tomorrow.
As you get into your Chrysler Cirrus, which you have loved since the day you bought it...last month.
You turn the ignition switch but nothing happens.
You try it again, still, 'nada'.
You turn the wipers on, nothing.
You reach for the headlights...
'Oh, no, you left the parking lights on all day.
Well, at least you can call Bill, the Security Guard, and he will help you.
Bill drives over in his Chevy truck and raises the hood, then raises the hood on your car.
He gets the jumper cables out and hooks them up to his truck's battery...
being careful not to let the other ends connect.
After a little you get out of the car and ask him what's wrong...
cause he's just standing there with a blank look on his face, staring at the engine.
"Where's th battery?" he asked.
"I don't know," you remark as you lean over the fender and commence to search for the battery.
The telephone starts ringing and Bill has to get back to his post.
You decide to call Joe at the shop...hoping he's still there.
Joe drives up in his wrecker and puts a jack under your car behind the left front tire.
"What are you doing, Joe? I don't have a flat...the battery is down!"
"I know, Sarah, but the battery is behind the splash guard, and I have to remove the tire to get to it."
Have you ever heard of such? But it's true.

From Good to Great - the Dodge Neon motor
When Chrysler Chairman Robert Lutz unveiled the Dodge Neon in 1994, he did so with every intention of breaking into the Sport Compact market. While first generation Neon did ripple the performance pond, it was the second-generation model that made the big impact Dodge needed. This means the older cars can benefit from the more powerful used Neon engine from the 2003 and up vehicles.
History
In 1995, the Neon found itself with a class leading motor. From a 2-litre Double Overhead Cam (DOHC) four-cylinder engine, it produced 150bhp and 133lb/ft of torque which was more than a match for its rivals at the time. Extra performance was available from the factory in the form of a competition package known as ACR or American Club Racer. There was no horsepower bump from the ACR option, but a reprogrammed electronic control unit (ECU) removed the speed limiter and provided better throttle mapping. The real bomb came in 2003 when Chrysler decided to add the SRT-4 variant to the 2nd generation Neon. Gone was the small naturally aspirated 2-litre, in its place came a turbocharged 2.4-litre motor listed at 215bhp and 245lb/ft of torque. There was enough power to rocket the car to 60mph under 6 seconds.
Applications
A used Neon engine is great off the bat upgrade for any base Neon. Not only is there the power bump from having the larger displacement turbocharged motor, but a whole other world of performance parts are available (many from Dodge themselves). It shares some architecture with the 2-litre engine, but more significantly, the 2.4 natural aspirated is found in several other Chrysler products making them prime candidate for swaps. For those with front-wheel drive, like the PT Cruiser, a used Neon engine from the SRT-4 model will drop right in. More challenging engine swaps into the Stratus and Cirrus sedans are possible with the ultimate conversion subject being any 2.4-litre Dodge minivan once packaged correctly.
Unlike its competition, the Neon came equipped with engines designed to make it stand out in the performance scene. The jump from a simple 150bhp 2-litre to 2.4-litre turbocharged motor to end out its production cycle in 2005 means a used Neon motor, even in stock form, carries great potential for whatever other Dodge vehicle it may find itself installed in. Its wide use allows persons to find it easily, quickly and at reasonable prices on the used market
