runs fine for a while then won't start til it sets, fuel filter has been replaced..could the fuel pump be causeing this allthough it has 60 lbs pressure when I checked it...I am really stumped and need a answer as what to do..please

yes the fuel pump could be the cause, even though you have 60psi .this is what I do when a vehicle with same problem such as yours gets towed into our dealership , bend down and smack the bottom of the fuel tank with a rubber mallet or equivalent a few times , then try to start the vehicle , if it starts right away , replace the pump. (the vanes of the pump sometimes bind causing a no start) I hope that fixes it. good luck
