car has restarted easily each time but now the check engine light is on. It seems to happen more when I am driving downhill or apply the brake suddenly. Do I need a new fuel pump? Could this be a tank of bad gas?

Either the wiring to the fuel cell is loose/bad,or the fuel cell pump is going bad.Check the connections at the plug at the tank if connected ok then figure fuel cell.The check engine has recorded a fault the dealership can read on their computer reader that may solve this action.....George
